CHINA VISA DOCUMENTS REQUIREMENTS

Physical Documents Required for Tourist Visa

  • Valid Passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of travel. The passport should also have a minimum of two blank visa pages.
  • Old passport required (Only if the new passport is a fresh passport)
  • Two Photograph Dimensions of 35mm x 45mm (Fresh ones Not used earlier for any visa with 80% face coverage)
  • Detailed Original Covering Letter addressed to The Visa Officer Embassy of People`s Republic of China New Delhi
  • Hotel Voucher
  • Two Way Confirmed Tickets

 

Bank Statement

  • Original bank statement of 6 months with original seal and signature of Bank on all the pages and with minimum balance should be Rs 1.6 Lakhs per person and cash flow, if someone else is sponsoring the trip; additionally the occupation proof documents of the sponsor will also be required.

Itinerary

  • A day-to-day itinerary is to be submitted addressing to the visa officer, Embassy of the people’s republic of China, Delhi or Mumbai or Kolkata, India

Visa Application Form

  • The form should be duly filled & checked by the applicant.

Appointment Confirmation

  • Appointment Confirmation Letter.

ADDITONAL REQUIREMENTS

Covering Letter

  • Stating applicant’s purpose of visit and personal details addressed to the visa officer Embassy of the people’s republic of China, Delhi or Mumbai or Kolkata.

OCCUPATIONAL DETAILS

Self-employed

  • Cover Letter on official business letterhead.
  • Business Registration Certificate, such as GST certificate, Certificate of Incorporation, Partnership Deed, MOA, etc.
  • Valid proof of proprietorship.

Employed

  • Provide the following company letters on official letterhead, including the applicant’s name, designation, and signature of the authorized signatory:
  • Leave Sanction letter (OR) No Objection Certificate.
  • Payslip of last 3 months.
  • Company Appointment Letter (if the applicant has recently switched the company).

Student

  • Bonafide certificate from educational institution
  • Student identity card copy.

Retired

  • Retirement Proof (OR)
  • Pension slip for the last 3 months.

Marriage certificate

  • Applicable, if the applicant is married and spouse’s name is not mentioned on the passport

Staying with friends and family

  • An invitation letter from the inviting person based in China on their letterhead mentioning applicant’s name, Passport Number, Date of Travel, Place of travel and Purpose of travel with clear Chinese seal and signed by authorized signatory. Letter should be addressed to Embassy of China, New Delhi or Consulate General of China, Mumbai or Consulate General of China, Kolkata.
  • Inviting person’s permanent address proof.
  • Inviting person’s contact number.
  • Inviting person’s ID.

Sponsor documents

  • Additionally the occupation proof documents of the sponsor will be required, if the applicant is being sponsored.

  • Recently taken White background photo up to chest (35 X 35 MM Face Size 80% of the Photo)

  • Traveller Bank Statement 6 Months
  • Invitation Letter From China

Invitation letter Specification

  • An invitation from the Chinese company must adhere strictly to the Embassy’s specified format (Invitation letter format attached in the Forms section).
  • Signatory Name should be written in the Chinese language.
  • Signatures should be cross signature on company seal (and should be in Chinese).
