PHILIPPINES VISA DOCUMENTS REQUIREMENTS

Passport

  • Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date and minimum of 3 blank pages for visa stamps.
  • Include all old passports (if any) along with your current passport.
  • Handwritten passports and those with a validity exceeding 10 years are not accepted.
  • Provide photocopies of all pages of your current passport and the immediate previous passport.
  • Include 2 photocopies of the first and last pages of your current passport.
  • If available, include photocopies of UK, US, or past Schengen visas.

Photographs

  • Two recent photographs measuring 35mm x 45mm, taken within the last Six months, with 80% of the face visible.

Covering Letter

  • Compose a letter addressing the Consulate General of the Philippines in Chennai, specifying the purpose of the visit and providing relevant personal details.
  • Day to Day Tour Itinerary for Tourist form the Philippines DMC

Air tickets

  • If Tourist Visa Travel itinerary or Ticket/Flight reservation (entry and exit)
  • If Business Visa Copy of confirmed arrival and departure tickets.

Hotel Reservation Must for Tourist Visa

  • Provide details of the hotel, including the address, contact number, the applicant’s name, and the dates of reservation.

 Travel Insurance

  • A travel insurance for COVID-19 treatment cost from reputed insurance provider with minimum coverage of USD 35,000 for the duration of stay in the Philippines

 Id proof

  • Aadhaar Copy

Invitation Letter for Visit Visa (if invited)

  • Original Letter of Invitation (If Applicable) indicating Complete address and contact number should be notarized by notary public (passport copy, visa copy and Signed ID Proof)

 Invitation Letter for Business Visa

  • Original Notarized Letter of Invitation from Philippines, Mentioning the duration of stay and purpose of visit along with signing proof (Passport Copy and also latest visa copy for other than Filipino national)
  • The Company should be registered with security and exchange commission of Philippines
  • A Copy of SEC Should be submitted with the letter of invitation from Philippines

 Indian Company required Documents for Business Visa

  • Covering Letter from company in INDIA
  • Incorporation certificate of the Indian Company
  • Registration of the Firm

ITR

  • Submit a copy of your Form 16 (Part A & Part B) or personal income tax returns for the last 3 years.

Bank Statement for Visit Visa

  • Submit a signed and sealed bank statement for the past 6 months, demonstrating sufficient balance (minimum INR 80,000 per application) and providing details of cash flow.
  • If someone else is sponsoring the trip, include occupation proof documents of the sponsor along with the bank statement.

 

Bank Statement for Business Visa

  • Financial standing of business – Original Letter form the bank certifying that the Company is maintaining Current account and the transaction is satisfactory

OCCUPATIONAL DETAILS

 

Self-employed

  • Cover Letter on official business letterhead.
  • Business Registration Certificate, such as GST certificate, Certificate of Incorporation, Partnership Deed, MOA, etc.
  • Valid proof of proprietorship.

Employed

  • Provide the following company letters on official letterhead, including the applicant’s Full name, designation, address, telephone number and signature of the authorized signatory
  • Leave Sanction letter (OR) No Objection Certificate with company stamp and sign
  • Pay slips of last 6 months.
  • Company Appointment Letter (if the applicant has recently switched the company).

 

Student

  • Bonafide Certificate from educational institution.
  • Student Identity Card Copy.

Retired

  • Retirement Proof (OR)
  • Pension slip for the last 6 months.

CONDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Rent Agreement

  • Applicable, if passport is issued in a different jurisdiction from the jurisdiction of visa application.

Marriage Certificate

  • Applicable, if the applicant is married and spouse’s name is not mentioned on the passport.

Staying with friends and family

  • Provide the names and passport numbers of the invitees, along with details on the duration and purpose of their stay.
  • Include copies of the inviting person or family’s passport and visa, along with their permanent address and contact number.
  • If Spouse of a Philippine Citizen : Name of Filipino Spouse Should be Indicated in the Visa Applicants Passport Copy and Report of Marriage Issued By the Philippine Embassy or Philippine National Statistics Office
  • If unmarried Minor Child of Filipino Parent : Copy of birth certificate and Copy of Parents Valid Passports

If minor under 18 travelling alone: Minor under 18 years of age travelling alone or to be accompanied by a person other than a parent or not joining a parent in the Philippines. Affidavit of support and consent to travel.

The affidavit must be executed by either or both parents indicating traveling companion of minor and address in the Philippines, duly apostilled by the MEA.

This affidavit must be presented before immigration officials at the port of entry in the Philippines upon Arrival.

 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • All documents should be in English. If a document is in any other language, an official translation of the same should be submitted.
  • Embassy or Consulate may request additional documents or personal interview on a case-by-case basis.
